MotoHub Privacy Policy

LEGAL · MOTOHUB

This Privacy Policy explains how the MotoHub operator identified as the seller or provider on MotoHub's App Store listing ("MotoHub," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, discloses, retains, and protects personal data.

It applies to the MotoHub iOS app, its native and web-based features, and related support (the "Service").

1. Who Is Responsible

The responsible operator is the seller or provider shown on MotoHub's App Store listing. For privacy questions or requests, contact feedback@mothub.com. Third-party providers listed below process data under their own notices and our instructions or as independent controllers, depending on the service.

2. Data We Collect

Depending on the features you use, we collect:

We receive data from you, your device and app activity, Apple, other users, our service providers, and advertising or attribution partners. Public content and profile information may also be received when another user interacts with or reports it.

3. Permissions and Your Choices

Permissions are requested in context and may be changed in iOS Settings. MotoHub can still collect data that does not require an iOS permission, such as IP address, app sessions, or basic device information. Selecting media through Apple's picker may provide access only to items you choose.

4. Why We Use Data

We use personal data to:

Where applicable law requires a legal basis, we rely on performance of our contract with you, legitimate interests in operating and securing the Service, your consent (including for tracking or device permissions), and compliance with legal obligations. You may withdraw consent at any time, without affecting prior lawful processing.

5. Service Providers and SDKs

We disclose data to providers only as needed for enabled features, configured processing, security, or legal obligations. Current integrations include:

Cloud and content-delivery providersHost APIs and deliver content; IP address, request headers, app/device identifiers, requested content, timestamps, and server logs.

Some third-party libraries are included only as technical dependencies and do not receive personal data unless their functionality is initialized or a network request is made. Their privacy notices may also apply. We remain responsible for accurately configuring providers and our App Store privacy disclosures.

6. How Data Is Disclosed

We do not sell personal data for money. We do not use personal data for cross-context behavioral advertising unless the practice is enabled, disclosed, and you grant any consent required by law and Apple's Tracking permission. Provider dashboard settings and App Store privacy answers must remain consistent with this statement.

7. Storage, Retention, and International Transfers

Data may be stored locally on your device (including UserDefaults, Keychain, caches, and app databases) and on MotoHub or provider servers. Providers may process data in countries different from where you live. Where required, we use contractual, consent-based, or other lawful safeguards for international transfers.

We retain data only for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes above, including while your account is active, for backup and recovery cycles, dispute resolution, fraud prevention, safety, and legal or accounting requirements. Retention varies by data type and provider. When no longer needed, data is deleted or de-identified.

Account deletion: Settings > Delete Account deletes the user's account and related data, including profile information, posts, social activity, messages, motorcycle records, reports, and virtual-item balances. Limited records may be retained where required for legal compliance, security, fraud prevention, disputes, refunds, or accounting.

8. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the data and risk, including HTTPS transport for MotoHub APIs and iOS-protected local storage where implemented. No system is completely secure. Protect your device and account, and contact us if you suspect misuse. We will investigate and provide legally required incident notices.

9. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may request access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, objection, or withdrawal of consent; opt out of qualifying sale, sharing, targeted advertising, or profiling; and appeal a denied request. You may also complain to your local data-protection authority. We will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising a right.

You can edit certain profile data in MotoHub, remove content where supported, manage permissions in iOS Settings, and use Settings > Delete Account to delete your account and related data. For a verified privacy request, email feedback@mothub.com with the subject "Privacy Request." We may ask for information reasonably necessary to verify identity and authority. We may deny or limit a request when law permits, including to protect others' rights, security, legal claims, or required records, and will explain where required.

10. Children

MotoHub is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. A higher minimum age or parental authorization may apply where you live. If you believe a child provided data without valid authorization, contact us so we can investigate and delete it as required. MotoHub should not be listed in an App Store kids category unless its collection, SDK configuration, content, and parental controls are separately adapted for children.

11. Policy Updates

We may update this Policy to reflect changes in features, providers, or law. We will post the revised version, update the effective date, and provide additional notice or request consent for material changes when required. If data will be used for a materially different purpose, we will provide notice and obtain consent where required before that use.
